Terms of Service

RemoteTools is a Chrome extension and companion web app that helps job seekers browse OnlineJobs.ph more effectively, generate AI-assisted job insights and application materials, and produce freelance documents. The browsing tools run locally in your browser; the AI features run through our web app and use credits. RemoteTools is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by OnlineJobs.ph.

You do not need an account to use the free local tools. To use AI features, you must create an account and verify by matching the email on your OnlineJobs.ph account-settings page. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for the activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter this agreement.

• New verified accounts receive 5 free welcome credits, once per account identity.
• Credits can be purchased in packs (currently 20 credits for ₱99) through PayMongo, which is presently operating in sandbox/test mode.
• Most AI actions cost 1 credit; some heavier actions cost more, shown before you run them. A failed AI run is refunded.
• Bonus credits (welcome and referral) are spent before purchased credits and expire after 30 days. Purchased credits do not expire.
• Referral rewards (+2 credits per activated friend, up to 5 friends) require genuine activation, not mere signup. Fraudulent or duplicate activity earns nothing.
• Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not redeemable for money.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to violate OnlineJobs.ph’s own terms.
• Attempt to bypass verification, abuse the referral system, or create duplicate accounts to farm credits.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service except as permitted by law.
• Submit content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.
• Interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.

AI features generate suggestions — application drafts, insights, resume edits, interview prep and rate advice. Output can be inaccurate or incomplete, and you are responsible for reviewing and editing anything before you rely on or send it. RemoteTools does not guarantee any job, interview, offer, or income outcome, and never submits applications for you — drafts are text for you to send yourself.

You retain ownership of the profile details and content you provide. You grant us the limited right to process that content solely to provide the features you request (for example, sending a job description and your chosen profile to our AI provider to generate a draft). How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

The service is provided on an ongoing but evolving basis. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may adjust credit costs, pack pricing, and promotional limits via configuration, with reasonable notice for material changes. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RemoteTools is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, jobs, or income arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the extension. On deletion, we soft-delete your record as described in the Privacy Policy. Unused bonus credits are forfeited on termination; refunds for purchased credits, if any, are handled case by case.
